• We collect only what you give us in our forms and emails, plus basic visit data from analytics.
• We use it to reply to you, deliver what you ask for and improve our website.
• We do not sell your information.
• You can ask to see, correct or delete it at any time: info@blitzback.com or 416-556-7750.

BlitzBack (Web Design and Marketing), at 915 Inverhouse Drive Unit 20, Mississauga, Ontario L5J 4B2, runs this website (blitzback.com). This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information when you visit the site, use our forms or work with us as a client.

We aim to handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

Information you give us

• Free demo request: your name, email address, business name, website address (if you have one) and a description of your business.
• Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), business name (optional) and your message.
• Free guide download: your name and email address.
• Emails, calls and meetings: anything you choose to tell us.
• Client work: information we need to build and look after your website, such as content you send us and access to your website and analytics data.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our site, standard technology records your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how long you stay, the site that referred you, and the date and time.

Services we use

• Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console (through the Google Site Kit plugin) show us how visitors use the site. Google may set cookies and process this data. Read how Google uses data from sites that use its services. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Cloudflare Turnstile protects our forms from spam and bots. It checks information about your browser and device for that purpose. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
• Wordfence, a security plugin, records IP addresses and request details to detect and block attacks.
• Hostinger hosts this website and keeps standard server logs.
• Nelio A/B Testing may be used to compare two versions of a page. While a test is running, it may store a small cookie or browser-storage entry to remember which version you saw.

We use your information to:

• reply to your enquiry and send what you asked for, such as your free demo or the free guide;
• follow up about your project;
• provide, support and secure our services for clients;
• send you emails you have asked for or agreed to receive;
• understand how our website is used and improve it;
• protect the site from spam and attacks; and
• meet our legal obligations.

We send marketing emails only if you have asked for them or otherwise agreed, as CASL requires. Every such email includes a way to unsubscribe.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• service providers that help us run the website and our business, such as hosting, email, analytics, spam protection and security. They may use it only for those purposes;
• professional advisers, such as accountants or lawyers, when we need their advice;
• authorities, where the law requires it or to protect rights and safety; and
• a buyer, if we ever sell or restructure the business.

Cookies are small files stored on your device. This site uses:

• Essential cookies that keep the site and its forms working and secure;
• Analytics cookies from Google Analytics, which tell us how the site is used; and
• Testing cookies, only while we compare versions of a page.

Analytics cookies stay off unless you accept them in the cookie notice that appears when you first visit. You can accept all, reject, or choose in Settings. Your choice is remembered for 30 days, after which the notice appears again.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, parts of the site, such as forms, may not work.

Your information is stored on our website host’s servers and in the systems of the providers listed above. Some of them, including Google and Cloudflare, process information outside Canada, including in the United States. Privacy laws there differ from Canada’s, and courts and authorities there may be able to access it. We choose providers carefully and use them only for the purposes described in this policy.

We keep enquiries, form submissions and emails only as long as we need them to respond to you, deliver our services and manage our relationship with you, and as the law requires. After that we delete or anonymize them. Analytics data is kept for the period set in our Google Analytics account.

We use reasonable safeguards, including secure (HTTPS) connections, password-protected access, a security plugin and regular updates. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You can ask us to:

• show you the personal information we hold about you;
• correct anything that is wrong;
• stop using your information, or withdraw your consent, including unsubscribing from emails; and
• delete your information, unless we must keep it by law.

Email info@blitzback.com or call 416-556-7750. We aim to reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Our website and services are meant for businesses and are not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Our site may link to other websites that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please read their policies.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make significant changes, we will post a notice on this page.
