Your Hero is Waiting

The Hero’s Journey

For a small business owner, your website is a modern-day necessity. But is it working for you or merely another tick box of “things I need to do”.

This series looks at how we can design our home page to be our greatest advocate. We’ll start from the top of our homepage and develop a bond with the viewer (the hero of this story), before guiding them towards our desired goal (establishing contact, purchasing a product or booking a service).

Throughout this series we’ll be using a real-world example : a painter hoping to establish a presence in a new town and the steps we would take to build their first website.
